SmartOffice - Document Editing App Reviews

Very unstable software not to happy with my purchase and when i e-mailed the company it took 1 week before a response, the software is crashing non stop i got a brand new ipad 128g and installed this software 2 days after so it is not my Ipad the problem

I have been pretty satisfied with thie product so far for creating and editing files on the go. However, the feature for linking to Google Docs seems inconsistent and slow. I tend to have to wait for long periods of time before the linking is successful, and it sometimes does not link at all. Please enhance the linking (to Google Docs) feature.

I usually save the Doc files I create as PDF. The issue is that underlined text in the Doc files does not save to the PDF file. The text saves, but the underlining is removed. Font and colour in the Doc file save ok in PDF. Any suggestions would be helpful. +++ Sure would like to see WiFi and Bluetooth file transfer. Sincerely, Jim

Great and well organized and presented, wish it were more customizable from the home section and that I could sort my documents into folders

Not very intuitive and clumsy to use (ex. when creating presentation words like "Content" already exist on document and must each be removed, instead of being greyed out and auto disappearing when touched to be overwritten). Usable and has useful options. Once this becomes more clever with better features, autosave functions, and such it will get better reviews/downloads/profits.

By far the best experience creating a new excel spreadsheet form. But after I made my shiny new blank form, things got ugly. I saved my new .xlsx file. Tried to copy it - app refused to paste (same filename) - how about giving me an option to save with a new name folks? Duh! Also, no options to add folders to the "my documents" section. (Something almost all the competitors offer.). Again - Duh! Templates feature - neat - but why cant I make my own doc into a template? Kinda seems like an obvious extension of having a templates feature. Tried to email you this instead of airing it in a review, but your website seems to completely lack contact options. This app could be great. Right now its not quite earning a "good" grade.

Fantastic application. Recommended to everyone who uses Microsoft Word or Excel a lot and has an iPad.

Love your UI and everything about your app ...But the most downside is that it not support most of cloud service I use So please add support for Skydrive and Sugarsync too ...Oh and sign up for news is annoying ...Please atlease give us option for not signing up

I was content with this app, then it started having problems. First there is a signup for news message that keeps appearing. It doesnt work, and frequently freezes software. I tried signing up for newsletter to get rid of it, but that freezes it too. It has gotten much worse, so an upgrade must have aggravated the problem. Now, suddenly, there are major problems with dropbox that were not there before. This is an app I paid money for. Not acceptable. Can you fix whatever you broke, pls.

Good to read and view documents. Good in a pinch to edit a document.

Works great and opens all sorts of documents. Not too heavy like Pages so it works fast.

Quite good than the other. But I want to be use an external keyboard(like bluetooth). (The arrow keys can not be operated) and... Graph function in (Excel) worksheets. <--strongly hope

I tried emailing documents, but when I pressed send it sent but the draft page does not disappear from the screen to go back to my documents. I tried to cancel and that didnt work either. I had to shut down the app and restart it every time. This must be a glitch. Thank you.

It works beautifully provided I dont need to add any photos to my work. The app crashes then and everything is lost..
