SmartOffice - Document Editing App Reviews

Was sceptical when I seen the price however this app is very good! I would get it before they start charging for it.

I wish that it had better integration with use of the Apple Wireless Keyboard with my iPad. There are a lot of functions that I cannot run with my wireless keyboard in the app.

I used spreadsheet but its difficult to use as you have to select each cell and then press done to close it. In other office suit there is option that you can enter data and press the arrow button to move between the cells and this gives lots of flexibility . If smart office introduce this feature then its 10/10 for smart office

Great app! Its great to actually be able to work on word documents straight from my iPad! It would be nice if we could add tables to the documents, as that is something definitely missing from this app. Overall a great job though!

I use a few products to create and edit MS Office type documents and spreadsheets. This is one of the best. Its easy to use, well laid out and interfaces well with Google Docs. Unlike some of the other office suites, its very easy to tell where your documents are and avoid creating several versions of the same file. The only issue Ive noticed so far is that editing a Google Docs spreadsheet causes the star to be removed so the document no longer shows up in your starred items in Google Docs.

Pretty good Only 2 complaints - changes formatting ( my specific trouble was adding diff bullet levels I couldnt remove) - could be easier to select places to edit , its hard to tap/ select

I purchased this app for one thing, to edit a complex spreadsheet. Like every other spreadsheet app, its garbage unless you want to make a simple table. It ended up being an expensive xls viewer, which I could do before buying this app.

Firstly, the product front end looks terrific. Ive looked at several and this one is the cleanest so far. It is also relatively easy to navigate and the UI is "pretty" intuitive. Heres the stuff that I would like to see in it to give it more stars: 1.Recognition of the arrow keys on my wireless keyboard. This has been mentioned before but here is the crazy part...they work when you want to change the file name when you go to save...but they dont work within the document? 2.I would like to see some sort of message board for the community so that it can help itself. Im sure some of my questions that arent in the FAQ have probably already been thought of. 3.When typing text into a cell, it appears like you open a blade and then start typing into it. Not really that convenient. As a document editor/creater, the product appears fine, I am not yet sold on the Spreadsheet side of it and so further testing will be needed. It hooked up to my dropbox account with no issues and I was able to save locally with no problems either. Overall, I like the product, and as long as it continues to improve. Is it worth the price? Right now...I would say not...

A very poor office suite. It is not very intuitive, and you have to "hunt" for certain functions like delete and highlight/select. The worst part is that there is NO AUTOSAVE feature. When you leave the app for a period of time, your work will not be saved and it will disappear. Stick with iWork Suite. Pages, Keynote and Numbers are all much better than this

This app looks cool but its not helping me at all. The instructions arent extensive enough... Like how the hell do I add more slides on the presentations? I want my money back so I can buy an easier powerpoint app. Grr.

Seems that theres a big problem with right-to-left languages. As long as it is not supported, the purchase was money wasting for me. Please add it.

This app is complete garbage.... You cant open files from it in other apps as they dont show up in any browser but smartoffice.... Its completely awkward and allows for absolutely no settings customization.... Has no autosave.... Crashes regularly.... Dont waste your money

Does not want to link to Google though it says that it does. Its useless to me if I have to be frustrated every time.

Handy app, great tool to have, only issue I have with spreadsheet it should remain in field during update.

This is a "lite" version! To edit documents you must purchase the "full" version. Deleting it from my devices.

Enter suggestion here Hi, Please add Bluetooth and wifi transfer feature. Please add scan to PDF feature. Please add air print and fax feature. Please add signature feature so that you can sign a document and then send it. Please add a feature to add date, time, page number, password, page border, image, and watermark to the document.
