Declining fast

I was content with this app, then it started having problems. First there is a signup for news message that keeps appearing. It doesnt work, and frequently freezes software. I tried signing up for newsletter to get rid of it, but that freezes it too. It has gotten much worse, so an upgrade must have aggravated the problem.
Now, suddenly, there are major problems with dropbox that were not there before.

This is an app I paid money for. Not acceptable. Can you fix whatever you broke, pls.
